Sparring Programs
There are several types of sparring based on the program your student is in.
Point Sparring – Light Contact. Students in the Junior and Adult/Teen program need a full set of sparring gear

Tiny Tigers/Lil’Dragons & After-School Care
Medieval Sparring is a program that is appropriate for younger students and a convenience for students in After-school care (where students can’t easily bring gear and the surfaces aren’t appropriate).

Do Tiny Tiges need sparring gear
No – we provide equipment for both in-class sparring and tournament events – students can purchase equipment from our supplier Century Martial Arts HERE – but it’s not required Swords Sheilds
What Skills do student need
- Circling with guards up
- Counter Striking
- Combos
Rules:
Like Point Sparring – strikes should be above the belt. We are looking for light contact (so pull strikes). NO FACE Striking or striking on the back of the head or body.
